Ahh, to meditate. The Brighton Buddhist Centre offers a peaceful environment to sit and contemplate or to take part in one of their frequent open days, classes and courses. If you're too strung out and in need of a gentle hand to help you relax then you've found the right place! And if you're already practicing meditation but you're looking for a supportive, social environment then that works as well.
The shrine rooms are bright and airy (and are particularly gorgeous when the rain's beating down on them!), and the place is warm and friendly. Leave your stress at the door (with your shoes) and enjoy some YOU time.
There are introductory drop-in classes (no need to book) on Wednesday lunchtimes from 1pm to 2pm and Wednesday evenings from 7:30pm to 9:30pm, as well as Saturday mornings from 11am to 1pm.
