directory indexattractionsThe matra in Sitges is to relax during the day and party in the evening. It's probably no surprise, therefore, that there aren't that many things to do during the day than the odd museum, a little shopping, relaxing on the beach, a long lazy lunch or, of course, a siesta! Failing that, jump on a train to Barcelona, but our experience is that you probably won't get round to it... Attractions and Things to do directory barsThe bars in Sitges really don't open that early - most don't actually fling open their doors until after 10pm and even then don't get going until much later. The exception is the Parrot Terrace which is open in the afternoon, and El Horno which opens early evening. Many bars restrict opening days out of season, so you'll find some only open at weekends during the Winter months. Bars, Pubs & Drinking directory clubsWith the bars open until the early hours, there are only a few venues that describe themselves as actual clubs. We've therefore also included any bar venues that have dancefloors here too. Clubs & After Hours Drinking directory communityWe've listed local and relevant national/international community groups and services here. This is a growing directory and if you would like to see your group or organisation here, then please contact us - we'd be delighted to help! restaurantsSitges is an old fishing port, so many of the better restaurants have some great fresh fish and seafood on offer. Dining out really is a way of life out here, so there are plenty of places to take a long, lazy lunch of traditional Catalonian fare, or more formal dining options in the evening. Again, the locals don't usually eat until much later in the evening, so you may have to educate your appetite a little. Restaurants, Bistros & Eating Out directory shopsShopping is a treat in Sitges with plenty of hidden away boutiques to explore through the rambling streets. From designer brands to something more local, it's well worth a look! |
