Sitges's best...

Restaurants, Bistros & Eating Out

Sitges is an old fishing port, so many of the better restaurants have some great fresh fish and seafood on offer. Dining out really is a way of life out here, so there are plenty of places to take a long, lazy lunch of traditional Catalonian fare, or more formal dining options in the evening. Again, the locals don't usually eat until much later in the evening, so you may have to educate your appetite a little.

  Parrots Restaurant

Quite unassuming from the outside, the food is outstanding international cuisine and the welcome warm. This eatery is polished yet extremely good value. Well worth a visit - and probably a return one too! Open daily from 7.30pm with a free welcome drink on arrival with one of their flyers. A very pleasant surprise.

  El Castell

Beautiful little restaurant serving a great mix of European and Catalan fare with Carpaccio, Toasts, Fish and Meat options.

  Chiringuito

Despite it's quaint location on the seafront esplanade with the sound of the mediterranean lapping gently on the shore, this restaurant claims a menu of tapas and fresh catch of the day. Those of you with a weak constitution might find the seafood platter more akin to a bushtucker trial and balk slightly at the low priority given to hygiene - however, it's location makes it a popular lunch stop choice.
