LGF Walk against Homophobia...
review
The LGF hosted their first annual Walk Against Homophobia. The event was fantastically well attended with upwards of 400 people out to enjoy the sunshine. Starting off from Oxford Road the walk took in the City Centre - stopping traffic as it went.
The event was certainly a great success and was also great fun... Well done to Emma, Rachel, Andrew and all the others at the LGF who helped put it all together. Special thanks also to Manchester Primary Care Trust who footed the bill.
loved it!
As an older gay man this walk reminds people that homophobia is not dead despite how far we have progressed. A good day making a good point. tigerinbed2, 25 Jul 2008 [+]
