Dave Lynn turns 40... or thereabouts!...
review
Dave Lynn turning 40 (now, now... no coughing at the back please) is obviously a fabulous excuse for a huge, glamorous party. And when a party needs to be huge and glamorous then the gorgeous Stanmer House is the only place to do it!
Everyone who is anyone arrived to wish Dave a happy birthday, and to help him celebrate over 30 years in the business. With our glasses of pink champagne in hand we wandered past the band to find the stage set for an evening of entertainment.
Richard-from-Legends was tonight's master of ceremonies, ushering everyone into the marquee to sing happy birthday and to watch as Dave cut into Tamzin's fantastic cake (seems like such a shame to spoil it!). Pat Cruise erupted onto the stage singing the outrageous "get the party started on a Saturday night...", and shared the evening with the ever-fabulous Masie Trollette - and with June Brown interrupting every now and again to provide some choice comedy moments!
Pat had also put together a series of movie clips to take us all for a brief trip down memory lane, and Carol Mcgiffin delivered a special video message on the big screen! Other celebrity guests spotted tonight included Kim Woodburn (Kim & Aggie) and Matthew Kelly - though I'm sure there were many more!
The night was a truly memorable one. Glittery, friendly and a lot of fun.
Happy Birthday Dave - from all of us at Real City Network! xx
