With the sun shining and the parade over, the city centre filled up with gorgeous, glamorous people - and the rest of us of course! All shapes, sizes, sexes and colours gathered in Soho Square and the surrounding streets. Old Compton Street was, obviously, packed to the rafters, and the square itself was operating a strict gate policy to ensure the crowds inside didn't get too much. Stages with live music, stalls selling everything from pants to toys to food and drinks, and bars buzzing as everyone relaxed in the afternoon sun.

Pride 2008 sees, perhaps aptly, a fairytale adventure theme, and pridegoers are invited to dress for the occasion inspired by fairytale, myth and legend.
