Brighton Pride 2008 : Parade setup...
review If you've never put together a float or been part of a walking group for a parade then you may not have realised just how much work goes into each and every entry. This morning, to make things even more difficult for everyone, the rain tipped down on us too. Nevertheless - groups of eager, good humoured people gathered on the seafront, despite it being more than a little damp, to put the final touches to their parade entries. And of course - groups of volunteers arrived to ensure the whole thing got off to a safe start. And supporters under umbrellas turned up to watch the whole thing take shape. REALBrighton's coverage of the parade setup and our coverage of the parade this year was sponsored by the lovely girls at Crown Gardens - for which we are very grateful! Their website has details of some fabulous properties for short holiday lets - please do drop in on them at www.crown-gardens.co.uk! Our float was also supported by Legends Hotel and Amsterdam Hotel - many, many thanks to them both! loved it? Were you there? Did you have a great time? Be the first to tell us what you loved about this event!
