Sydney Mardi Gras 2004...
review They promised us a bigger and better party & parade for 2004... they certainly delivered. A party fit for a queen & 25,000 of your closest friends in one Big Gay Space... what more can we say?But before the party, of course, we need a parade! We need music, glitter, outrageous costumes and wild boys doing some wild dancing... we need the rain... oh wait, no we don't need that, but we got it anyway. The downside of getting a little damp was outweighed by the upside of everyone's pants turning seethrough... The fact that Sydney was experiencing some "unseasonal" rain didn't dampen our spirits nor stop the Champagne popping. It gave everyone a chance to huddle together under umberellas to share the bubbly and join in the chant: Rah! Rah! Mardi Gras!
